Extreme events such as droughts and floods, and their related consequences, are exacerbated by climate change. Discussing water at the COP is paramount given the ongoing climate-related water crisis. There is hope for the parties at COP27 to discuss the implementation of the NDCs, the transfer of technologies to the developing countries, and the transboundary water resources management.
