CEO & Founder

Emma has a Master’s in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po, Paris, and a Bachelor’s in Land Economy (Environment, Law and Economics) from the University of Cambridge. She founded ClimaTalk at the end of her undergrad in June 2020 and has been running the organisation ever since. She’s also working as a Climate Policy & Research Consultant for the international marine conservation NGO OceanCare. When she isn’t in meetings or on Slack, she’s busy finding the best vegan food.

Having recently graduated from a Master’s in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics, Aisling is now working as a researcher at a sustainability consultancy that specialises in climate change, biodiversity and human rights. She is particularly passionate about issues at the intersection of human rights and climate change, and in engaging people from all different walks of life in the climate discussion. Outside work, she loves running, photography and listening to jazz!

Hazel Mulkeen

Hazel Mulkeen

COP31 Co-Lead

Hazel is a recent graduate of Trinity College Dublin in French and German. She spent last year chairing her university’s debating society, while also reporting on current affairs for Eurodesk’s Pool of Young Journalists and PulseZ and researching refugee rights for her university’s Free Legal Advice Clinic. This work showed her how international policymaking shapes everyday lives, and instilled a passion for sustainable social justice. She currently serves as a Young Ambassador with the ONE Campaign in the UK supporting development projects in Africa, and with Ensemble Contre la Peine de Mort, advocating for the global abolition of capital punishment. As Co-Lead on ClimaTalk’s COP31 Project, Hazel covers all things SB64 and COP31 – when she’s not working on her advocacy or journalism projects, you can probably find her at the cinema or updating her London café rankings (she’s a coffee fiend).

Aghgul has Bachelor’s degree in State and Public Affairs and currently part of several NGOs, advocating for climate justice and gender equality. Since she is passionate about nature and environmental justice, she tries to embody their elements in the designs as well.
